Taaleri executed the sale of Taaleri Forest Fund III successfully
Taaleri Private Equity Funds Ltd has successfully executed the sale of Taaleri Forest Fund III Ky to a fund managed by United Bankers Plc. The deed of sale was signed on 26 June 2023, and the transaction is expected to close on 30 June 2023. The purchase price is not disclosed.
The fund, which was managed under Taaleri’s real estate business, almost doubles the capital invested by its investors, and it exceeds its targets with IRR profit of approximately 10 percent.
Taaleri Group will record from the exit of the fund a performance fee of approximately EUR 3.5 million, of which EUR 2.0 million was recognized in 2022. The sale includes the possibility of an earn-out. Taaleri has successfully exited all three of its forest funds.
Taaleri Forest Fund III Ky, founded in 2014, owns a total of 11 forest estate entities with a total area of more than 7,000 hectares. Forest areas are located in North Ostrobothnia, North Karelia, North Savo, Kainuu and Pirkanmaa.
